Have you ever wanted to learn how to use a computer, or an MP3 player or digital camera, or go on to the internet, or have an email account, or learn about blogs and Facebook, or buy a computer? Then these classes at Sunrise Mountain Library are for you. These classes are open to all adult members of the public.

Smart Phones & Tablets - Android Devices Only

This introductory class will remove some of the mystery many of us experience when using our new smart phones and tablets with the android operating system. Downloading apps, taking and transferring photos, using the library’s mobile website and City of Peoria’s mobile app, and reading books and magazines or newspapers, and listening to music and audio books are some of the topics this class will introduce. Feel free to bring your tablet or phone, any cords you might need, and your passwords for them.

E-Books for Kindle and other E-Book Readers

In this class we will learn how to find and download audiobooks, music, movies, and ebooks from the Greater Phoenix Digital Library on to a computer, Kindle or other ebook readers, mp3 player, smartphone, etc. This class gives you the basics on how to utilize this service by showing you how to find and check out books, then get them on to your mobile device. Please bring your library card, pin #, reading device, and login information for Amazon or Apple depending on the type of device you are using.
