Have you ever wanted to learn how to use a computer, or an MP3 player or digital camera, or go on to the internet, or have an email account, or learn about blogs and Facebook, or buy a computer? Then these classes at Sunrise Mountain Library are for you. These classes are open to all adult members of the public.

Learn how to get pictures off of your new camera, basic editing of your photos and how to attach to an email. You can bring a camera and the cord or an SD card with pictures on it to work with in class.

This introductory class will remove some of the mystery many of us experience when using our new devices with Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. Feel free to bring your laptop, tablet or phone with Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, any cords you might need, and your passwords for them.

EBooks for Kindle and other EBook Readers

In this class we will learn basics in finding and downloading audiobooks, music, movies, and ebooks from the Greater Phoenix Digital Library on to a Kindle or other ebook readers, mp3 player, smartphone, etc. This class gives you the basics on how to utilize this service by showing you how to find and check out books, then get them on to your mobile device. Please bring your library card, pin #, reading device, and login information for Amazon or Apple depending on the type of device you are using.

Get an overview of what Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google +, Pinterest, and Linkedin are. We can help you set up accounts with these services if you don’t have one. If you have any of these accounts please bring your login and password. We will also talk about tablet and smartphone apps for these. You can use your own tablet or smart phone or borrow a device from us.
