In response to the continued decline in COVID-19 cases and rise of vaccination recipients across Maricopa County, the City of Peoria is proceeding with Phase Two of the city’s COVID-19 Recovery Plan, which will expand facility access and related services. The Peoria Public Library will continue to adhere to social distancing protocols and maintain pandemic-preventative measures, while gradually expanding services and patron time in the buildings. Visit either the Peoria Main Library or Sunrise Mountain Library to 'take' a kit home, watch the DIY video, and then 'make' it. Peoria Library System Free Practice Driving Tests and Materials Library: Peoria Main & Sunrise Mountain Libraries Peoria Public Libraries in partnership with Driving-Tests.org, a company dedicated to driver safety and education, offers free Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) practice tests to library patrons. The service includes free tests specifically based on the state’s DMV materials. It is the only site of its kind to include accessibility tools that let users hear selections read aloud, make them into MP3s, translate pages into other languages, magnify text, and mask portions of the screen for greater visibility on the practice tests.
